Discover the world's smallest frog
Two of the world's smallest frogs have been discovered by US scientists in southeastern New Guinea.

ZooKeys magazine published December 12, scientist Fred Kraus and colleagues at the Bishop Museum in Honolulu (Hawaii) said the two species were named Paedophryne dekot and Paedophryne verrucosa, belonging to the 'tiny' genus frog. Paedophryne.
They live on a small scale in the mountains of southeastern New Guinea or adjacent areas and offshore islands, with adults only 8 - 9mm long.
According to Xinhua , with such a modest size, they are the smallest four-legged species in the world (vertebrate but not fish).
Chi frog Paedophryne was found in New Guinea by Kraus in 2002 but they were not officially described until last year.
