SS Terra Nova, which is a whale-hunting ship, then became a vehicle for Captain Robert Scott's Antarctic expedition in 1910 in hopes of becoming the first to set foot on Antarctica.
During this expedition, SS Terra Nova was controlled by a crew of 64 people.
During the journey, the risks continued to the ship and the crew, causing the food to run out, the animals brought along also died.
When he was more than 300km from Antarctica, only Captain Robert Scott and his four sailors discovered the rest of the journey.
It was not until 1912, two years after the start of the journey, that these five adventurers managed to reach the South Pole.
However, the five explorers were unable to become the first to explore the Antarctic because this achievement was given to Roald Amundsen's expedition, arriving in Antarctica in 1911.
After this expedition, the SS Terra Nova was requisitioned as a supply ship during the Second World War and sank when it hit an iceberg in 1943.
