The South Vietnamese expedition returned home
Yesterday, two members of the Antarctic expedition were Mr. Le Tuan, Chairman of the Board of Venture Investment and Consultancy Joint Stock Company (VC Invest) and Mrs. Hoang Thi Minh Hong arrived in Ho Chi Minh City, after 12 days of attending The Antarctic expedition 'The Leadership on the Edge 2009'.
In addition to exploring Antarctica, the delegation sent a message to world leaders before the UN climate change summit will take place in Denmark, calling for global cooperation in finding solutions to deal with the environmental crisis, which the earth is facing.
'During my time in Antarctica, I felt and saw the headset about the risk of climate change and the global ecological disaster, seeing the big melting glaciers that Vietnam is one of the countries in and will suffer the most severe consequences. I want to contribute a voice to call on people to protect the environment, protect the ecology not only by reason, but also by the heart. If we don't act soon, we will die , 'said Le Tuan.
The location of this expedition is the Peninsula Peninsula in Antarctica. Explorers have surpassed the harshest Drake Strait in the world; explore Anvert, Trinity, Orne, Deception, Snow . islands, visit and survey the organization's E-Base base 2041 on King George Island; visit scientific research stations at Bellingshausen base; survey Hope Bay and melting ice here; explore Whalers Bay to survey Antarctic ecosystems and wildlife; Take an on-board adventure and camp outdoors at Cuverville Cape on the icy Antarctic continent.
