An artifact from the pre-Inca civilization, this fragile mummy will contribute to the collection of discoveries related to death and burial practices in many different eras and cultures throughout the world. gender.

Pachacamac is located about 25 miles south of the Peruvian capital, on the Pacific coast. More than 80 skeletons and mummies, including babies, may have been killed for ritual reasons, discovered in a 1,000-year-old tomb at Pachacamac in 2012.

In addition to these remains, 70 other skeletons and mummies - all in the sitting posture - were also found, most of which were rolled up.

Thousands of people lived in this ancient town from about 800 to 1450, following the path of Pacha Kamaq, thought to be the god who created the first man and woman.
