Suddenly discovered 7,000-year-old mummy in North Chile
Chilean media reported that a group of students had suddenly discovered a 7,000-year-old mummy on a trip to northern Chile.
According to La Tercera newspaper, the mummy was discovered by students on May 24 during a visit to the Morro de Arica site.
According to students, the magnitude 8.2 earthquake that occurred in the area in April could be the reason for a part of the mummy to rise to the ground.

Scientists believe the mummy belongs to the Chinchorro culture in northern Chile.
The site of the Chinchorro culture was discovered in the 20s of the 20th century in the northernmost region of Arica, Chile along the Pacific coast, where the primitive people lived by hunting, fishing and gathering. sea.
