According to scientific research published in the Israel Exploration Society on October 28, this garden was built by the king from around the 7th century to the 4th century BC.
This work includes a complex irrigation system, a complex of canals, tunnels, rock ditches and an elaborate waterfall system.
In particular, the garden can be easily seen from all three directions: West, North and South - a sign of power and status in the society at that time.
Boaz Gross, a researcher at Tel Aviv University, said it was the first time a complex archaeological site before the Hellenistic Levant Greek civilization was found.
