The jar contained 90 silver coins that the retired couple could dig in the garden.

Sharing with the press, the old couple thought that the treasure was worth it when a coin could buy a cow.

Accordingly, the home of a retired couple is located on a hill, the highest place of the village. Local people said that around the 14th-15th century there was an elderly man living here, and the treasure was probably his.

Worth mentioning, experts said, every coin in this treasure is currently worth about 200-300 UAH, so both treasures can be worth 27,000 UAH (equivalent to more than 22 million).

The old couple could keep their treasures for themselves, but after thinking, they decided to send all that treasure to the Korosten Museum.

Earlier, the houses also found an ancient vase filled with gold coins during excavation in northern Italy, near the border with Switzerland.
