Duong Long tower (Tay Son district) on an area of 1,500 m 2 , archaeologists have recently discovered a stone base system of towers.

These brackets are made of large, nearly 60 cm thick stones, between blocks with rock dreams. This massive base system creates a strong, stable appearance for the towers. Particularly, the base of the main tower is decorated with beautiful patterns of upright lotus petals and sophisticated carvings.

The most regrettable thing is that many stone blocks were chiseled by the local people, scattered around the base of the tower, so the base system is no longer original. According to Dr. Dinh Ba Hoa, Binh Dinh Provincial Museum, there will be a layer of bricks under the base. And excavators also have to dig another 1 meter apart from the 1.55 m excavated. Thus, Duong Long tower is considered the tallest brick tower in Southeast Asia so far.
