Draw a bomb face

In Hollywood films about the commando force, viewers often see scenes of muscular soldiers fluttering over their faces, often green and brown, before each raid.

Face painting not only helps to hide the soldiers' actions against the enemy, but also protects them from bomb blasts.

In Hollywood films about the commando force, viewers often see scenes of muscular soldiers fluttering over their faces, often green and brown, before each raid. However, in the future, such camouflage can not only help them avoid the enemy's eyes, but also protect them from the pressure of bombs.

AFP quoted researcher Robert Lochhead of the University of Southern Mississippi as saying that bomb attacks often involve two dangerous attacks. The first is high-pressure waves that spread at supra-bar rates and can cause serious damage to the inner parts of the body. Next is the heat explosion that appears almost immediately. "It's a heat wave that carries heat more than 600 degrees Celsius, lasting about 2 seconds, but it can heat up the face, hands and uncovered areas ," says Lochhead. To protect soldiers from bomb attacks, scientists have invented a material that can mask sunscreen-like faces. As a result, the skin will be covered with a thin layer of sticky cream, but it can withstand heat efficiently, according to InnovationNewsDaily.

In the experiments, Lochhead's invention demonstrated a two-second protection from heat waves from explosive bombs. It shields the face and hands for up to 15 seconds before the surface temperature increases to the point where minor burns may occur. This material can be used well in the case of firefighters, who always have to deal with fire burns. To finish the material, experts must remove components containing oil, from mineral oil, fatty compounds to prevent burns. Instead, they use silicone, and the group also manages to add insect repellent to the new product.

Paints have passed the first round test to deploy next time. Lochhead's team also plans to test new paint for clothing, tents ... Water resistance features have been added in the case of soldiers moving in the riverside, according to a report presented to the conference. American Chemical Society in Philadelphia.
