K2-3d is full of ingredients needed for the life of aliens such as having a bright star near, perfect conditions to keep water in liquid form, warm, climate like Earth, New Scientist today. now reported.

The trajectory of this mysterious planet is about to enter the eclipse of the red dwarf that it orbits around, helping answer the question of whether this object contains a form of life outside of Earth.

NASA's Kepler outer space telescope spotted K2-3d through its star. NASA will use Hubble giant telescope to observe K2-3d for 5 days of eclipse in 2017.

Dr. Bjorn Benneke, California Institute of Technology, USA, said scientists hope to find a layer of hydrogen-rich atmosphere or clouds on Earth-like bodies. These are two very important signs of life outside the universe .

If scientists observe signs of water molecules, methane or ammonia in K2-3d's atmosphere, they will have the opportunity to search for life here.

" If you see any sign, we will watch it carefully with the James Webb space telescope, replacing the Hubble glass in 2018 , " Benneke said.

K2-3d is 1.5 times heavier than the Earth, orbiting the EPIC red dwarf 201367065 with a 45-day cycle each round at a distance of 150 million light-years away.
