Earthquake in Ecuador: The number of people killed is up to 413

According to the PV, the Ministry of Security of Ecuador announced on April 18 that the number of people killed in the magnitude 7.8 earthquake in the country last week increased to 413.

Meanwhile, Colombia's Foreign Ministry on the same day announced that at least seven citizens were killed in the Ecuadorian earthquake and the country is cooperating with the local authorities to search for 63 others.

On Twitter's social networking account, the ministry said it received 138 requests for citizens' help, but only 75 people have been found so far.

The Colombian government, as well as many countries in the region, sent rescue workers and aid groups to Ecuador to coordinate the relief and remedial work of the earthquake.
