Earthquake shook China-Russia-Korea
The US Geological Survey (USGS) said a magnitude 6.7 earthquake rocked the border area between China, Russia and Korea on February 18.
There has been no news of damage or casualties yet.
The earthquake occurred at 1:13 (GMT), the epicenter was 540 kilometers away, about 98 kilometers west of the Russian city of Vladivostok, about 110 kilometers east of Yanji city of Jilin province, China. 110km northeast of North Korea's Chongjin city.
According to USGS, the office towers in Beijing, 1,240km from the epicenter, were shaken slightly for about a minute.
The Korea Earthquake Research Center said the area often happens once a year and there is no damage in Korea or South Korea in this earthquake.
Also on the morning of February 18, a magnitude 5.8 earthquake struck New Zealand's Kermadec Islands in the South Pacific, but did not cause casualties or damage. The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center did not issue a tsunami warning. /.
