Ecobrick project: recycle plastic for building bricks, the most effective solution at the moment

A great way to recycle toxic, hard-to-decompose plastic waste. Under the shape of ecobrick bricks, we make them continue to serve life until the end of the life of the plastic!

Please introduce to you an eco-friendly product: Ecobrick, roughly translated as ecological bricks. Called "brick" but made entirely of plastic, ecobrick is a great project for recycling waste plastics, turning it into a useful tool that can be used in construction. Many communities around the world have joined hands to develop this ecobrick project.

The method of making simple bricks but taking advantage of all this plastic waste has come from a number of localities, scattered throughout the world. There are environmental activists who see the potential of this way of making bricks and have brought it to the world.

The strong ecobrick development in the Philippines has turned this place into the first flag in this commendable movement, and since then the Ecobrick Global Alliance has formed. Currently, the Division has more presence in South Africa, Zambia, USA and most recently Indonesia.

Extremely simple ecobrick fabrication : Just a plastic bottle or any container can easily turn into a brick (carton box for milk can also make ecobrick), stuffed into it. Any size of plastic can make ecobrick, but the most effective will be 500 ml plastic bottles, because the bottle is small and the plastic handle is not too much.

There are a few things to note:

  1. Food waste should be cleaned and dried before being placed in an ecobrick bottle, to avoid food decomposition inside.
  2. Do not put glass, metal, paper or any biodegradable material in the bottle. Because:
  1. Glass and metal are recyclable.
  2. Can burn paper safely.
  3. Decomposable materials should be left outside the bottle. I only give plastic, the most difficult to decompose in ecobrick.
