According to Ford, its bikes will have aluminum and carbon fiber frames so lightweight. It will be equipped with an 11-speed gearbox and disc brakes. A lithium ion battery supplies power to the motor with a capacity of 350 W.

The difference between Ford's bike and other electric bikes is the ability to detect a corner or a turn. This is a feature in Formula 1 racing cars. Thanks to the magnetic sensor technology, the wheel has the ability to recognize the crab segments to remind users. In addition, it can measure the pedal force of the user to calculate the amount of electricity each stroke creates.

Ford has invested heavily in developing Android-powered applications for its electric bike. With these applications, the electric bike can track the speed, distance, and broadcast of the warning message.
