Imagine being loved by a loved one even when they are far away. From this idea formed Like-a-Hug. This is a jacket that can wear and interact with social networks.
Like-a-Hug allows users to send tight hugs through social networking sites Facebook, helping owners get closer to each other, though they are far apart in geographical distance.
The jacket will expand as friends 'like' a new photo, video or status update on Facebook.
The wearer can feel the warmth, encouragement and support, the love of relatives, like the bracelet that somehow tighten them from behind.
At the same time, users can also send their Facebook 'Like' hug by hugging their jacket and releasing it. Of course, the condition here is that the other person has to wear a Like-a-Hug shirt.
The project was led by team leader Melissa Kit Chow and associates Andy Payne and Phil Seaton. They share, Like-a-Hug uses wireless wi-fi connection mechanism so that users can interact with social networking Facebook.
At this point, the Like-a-Hug development team wants to send a message to help people turn the virtual world into a positive one in real life. This project just stopped at the idea stage.
