Erotic pictures reduce memory

According to German researchers, men who often watch porn movies on the Internet tend to focus their energy on sexual emotions that last for several minutes, affecting the working memory that has the function of helping people analyze, understand, decide and solve problems at work.

The study is based on 28 men of the age of 26. They are shown continuous images alternating between pornography and non-pornographic images on computer screens.

Each person must show which picture is corresponding to which of the previous four panels. The results show that almost all these "volunteers" make mistakes when viewing pornographic images.
