That way, it will tell who is used, what search on the net, even how the client feels the problem. This method has never before, not only fast speed but very high accuracy. As a result, we can pass passwords or PINs, just by looking at the screen to be able to access the site from a mobile phone.
According to Dr Phil Tresadern , lead researcher on the project, the software accurately identifies some prominent facial features such as the eyes, mouth, nose and jaw. The mobile is equipped with a front-facing camera, recording a video of the user's face, tracking 22 outstanding features to increase the accuracy as well as the ability to interact with the owner's phone. The initial intent of the project was a partial face-to-face voice verification system and voice-over access to internet applications such as e-mail, social networking, and online banking.
Face recognition application has been deployed for laptop, webcam, Xbox 360 Kinect. But this is the first time this technology applies to smartphones. This new software draws on 20 years of experience with other devices and is now demonstrating the effectiveness of the Nokia N900 (under EU funding) for a project called ' mobile biometrics' .
