Delete the Windows User password
Sometimes, if you forget your password to your User, ask for Active Password Changes 3.0. This is a tool in Hiren toolkit 8.2. So first of all, prepare a Hiren boot CD 8.2.
First, start the computer from the CD-ROM, a list of tools appears, go to the Password & Registry Tools section, select the Active Password Change tool.
After the program starts, you will see a list of commands that are started with numbers. Please select line number [2] corresponding to ' Search for MS SAM Database on all hardisk and logical Driver '.
The program will begin the process of detecting all the disk partitions of your computer to find the SAM file (the file contains data about Windows User and Password). The computer will ask you to choose which SAM file is located in the partition. If you have only one partition containing the SAM, press Enter to continue.
Next you will get a list of Username and a range of options for each specific User. You select the User you want to delete the password and check the ' Clear this user password ' line. Press Enter to finish.
So your User password has been blanked. You can reboot your computer, log in with your 'white' password and adjust your computer as you wish.
