According to the doctor, Nik's illness will make him unable to walk normally like any other person. The hospital made suggestions about expensive orthopedic methods, which could cost thousands of dollars for the family.

But Matej - his father, spent 6 months experimenting and studying 3D printing techniques to create orthopedic devices that can be adjusted for each case.

Matej's invention opened up a new door for his 7-year-old son, and obviously also a new door for millions of other people struggling with similar disabilities.

Later, Matej gave up his current job and established a company that produced these devices. According to recorded information, such devices are made in less than 24 hours, and are much more economical than other orthopedic methods.
