Experts then track the eye's reaction, the reaction of the face, and ask the candidates if they like yogurt. In addition, the candidates for the experiment were asked to view some photos and then assess the feelings of those in the photos according to 12 steps - 6 negative and 6 positive.

According to experts, people tend to assess the feelings of others based on their emotions, so this assessment also shows how they feel.

The results showed that eating vanilla flavored yogurt actually made candidates for a more positive emotional response than with other flavors. In addition, low-fat yogurt also gives a similar reaction. In particular, this reaction is true for people who do not like yogurt, or have just eaten this yogurt for the first time.

According to Dr. Jozina Mojet - the lead researcher: "We were surprised to find the link between yogurt and emotional mood."

But why is vanilla taste? Experts say that because there are so many yogurt flavors, in which vanilla flavor is least chosen , the candidates are surprised to taste this flavor. In addition, some previous studies have shown that vanilla can reduce aggression and increase feelings of relaxation.

Nutrition expert Shira Lenchewski (USA) shared that she was not surprised at the result."Some flavors can stimulate the brain to produce endorphins - chemicals that help us relax - in which vanilla is the best," she said.

The study was published in the International Food Research magazine.
