King Richard III is buried in a rather shallow grave, without both coffins and shrouds. When observing the remains, they assumed that the ill-fated king was tied at the time of burial due to the severely damaged bone. Scientists found a total of 10 wounds on the remains, including 8 on the head. That shows that the king seems to have lost his protective helmet.

Historical documents write that the king was buried at a church in Leicester. However, the building was later destroyed and people forgot its place.

Movie screenwriter Phillipa Langley, who initiated the search for King Richard, described the cold feeling as she walked through the parking lot in August 2009.'It was a hot summer. Somehow I got goosebumps and felt freezing cold when I walked across that land, ' she said.
