The team analyzed two different ribosomal protein families named S19 and S13 in the gene sequences of living organisms. As a result, the scientists found that the Actinobacteria group , which is present in most human antibiotics, is the source of all life on Earth.

According to the American Institute of Physics Research, ribosome proteins are a factor for scientists to accurately track the evolution of all living organisms. Because they can be easily detected and they only pass through individual species through reproduction.

The structural arrangement of this protein helps scientists determine the location of each organism living in different branches on the evolutionary tree of life on Earth.

'Today's gene banks are huge. They contain more than 600,000 different genes from the genome of more than 6,000 species of organisms on Earth. We are using a structural approach to rearrange this messy gene bank, 'said Dr. William Duax, head of the research team, on Live Science.

Scientists are expected to announce their new findings at the upcoming annual meeting of the American Association for the Study of Crystals.
