Finding treasures 'terrible' of Thrace people in Bulgaria

Archaeologists have discovered a warehouse of ancient artifacts ranging from golden earrings, elaborate ceramic ornaments in the Thrace tomb area in Sveshtari, Bulgaria.

These antiquities were identified as dating back to the 3rd century BC in a well-preserved tomb discovered in 1982.

The design style of these jewelry is combined between Scythian, Greek, Macedonian cultures and even Thracian people.

Bulgaria has a long history in gold fabrication thousands of years ago and flourished. The tomb of Thracia is also one of the famous World Heritage sites of the United Nations.

In ancient times, Thracians resided in southeastern Europe bordering the Bosphorus Strait, the Balkan Mountains and the Rhodope Mountains.

Currently, Thrace people live in the southeastern regions of Bulgaria, Northwest Greece and some places in Turkey.
