Finger Lemon - Lemon is the most expensive salmon egg in the world

Thanks to its exotic shape and aroma, finger lemon becomes the most expensive lemon in the world for at least 280 USD / kg.

According to Los Angeles Times, finger lime (finger lime) has the scientific name Microcitrus australasica . This is one of Australia's 6 native lemons , growing in the eastern coastal rain forests.

Finger lemons are distinct from other citrus varieties, such as very small leaves and flowers. In 1915, scientist Walter T. Swingle classified this species of lemon and its close relative into a separate genus, called Microcitrus.

The height of finger lemon tree is about 2 - 7m. Flowers are white with petals 6 - 9mm long. Cylindrical fruits look a bit like cucumber fruits, 4 - 8cm long. The bark is thin and has many different colors such as burgundy, dark blue, most commonly green, light red. The oil extracted from the peel is quite fragrant, containing isomenthone which is abundant in mint.
