Hubo, the first bipedal robot in South Korea, learned to balance successfully on the Segway.
Professor Oh Jun Ho of the Korea Institute of Advanced Science and Technology says Hubo has become the first robot in the world to "swing up the Segway and move quite fast, to 20km / g." This is significant speed because now the ability "self-movement" of Hubo can only reach 1.3 km / g.
Professor Oh said the Segway will help Hubo adapt better in narrow areas.
With the face of the genius scientist Albert Einstein, Hubo is named after the combination of two humanoids (human traits) and robots. Hubo is loved by Korean people.
