Former MC of science show MythBusters turns a nerf gun into a 'double-barreled hat', releasing 54 bullets in the blink of an eye
Adam Savage, one of the former MCs of the popular science show MythBusters, continues to surprise fans with his unique inventions.
For those who love science and regularly watch foreign programs, especially those of the US or Australia, Adam Savage is probably a familiar name. As an expert in many creative fields such as graphic design, animation, stage design, Adam became more known after participating in the famous show MythBusters of Discovery Channel - where science becomes relatable than ever thanks to his engaging way of leading.
Currently, besides his familiar creative work, Adam also owns a large YouTube channel with nearly 5.8 million subscribers. This is where he makes the most 'craziest' inventions, conducts the most utopian scientific experiments in the most interesting way. In particular, Adam's most famous video is probably when he created a giant super-large nerf gun, with the ability to continuously fire 1000 small foam bullets. Posted in 2018, this video has attracted nearly 40 million views and is a record on Adam's YouTube channel.

Recently, the former MC of MythBuster decided to 'play around' with the nerf gun one more time and create a special device, like a double-barreled gun but can be worn on the user's head. More specifically, just using 1 trigger is that both barrels will release bullets and aim at the same target.
Strictly speaking, Adam Savage doesn't quite make devices like this. Instead, he edited the existing nerf gun models, upgraded them and added more cool features to them. Normally, modders like Adam will aim to improve the speed, quantity or range of bullets, and this product is no exception.
Returning to the nerf gun, Adam created a dual-barreled helmet device, with the ability to fire more than 50 bullets in the blink of an eye.
The original nerf gun model that Adam chose was called D-DART Pro, which is actually a giant magazine strapped to the user's wrist and can fire 27 times continuously. By crafting a dual-barreled device, Adam was able to double the number of bullets in one shot with a single pull of the trigger. The transfer of the gun from the wrist to the head, and the addition of a laser scope, made it easier for him to 'trim' the target more accurately.
So specifically, how did Adam Savage turn a regular nerf into a dual-barreled headgear with the ability to fire more than 50 bullets in the blink of an eye? Please watch the video below.
