Frozen frogs ... revived

A miracle happened to an unfortunate little frog who fell into the freezer at an Australian café. The uncle was found under the ice at a temperature of -18 ° C. But after being ' defrosted ', the frog completely recovered and began to . breathe.

Sue Hoddinott, 47, who discovered the frog said: 'I can't believe it. It was completely frozen in a cold block of ice. When I found it, I thought 'poor little animal' and intended to throw it in the trash. But a friend advised me not to do it because she had a view on TV about how they could revive when thawed. I said maybe she's watching too many movies so imagine it. However, I still tried it. She ran her finger on the frog's back to clean the remaining snow and then it started breathing - it was very surprising. '

Nature defender Graeme Sawyer thinks it's a rare story. However, he did not rule out the possibility that the frog revived after being dumped. He said: 'I have never heard of this happening with Australian frogs but it is true that American frogs can live again after defrosting.'
