Garden of digital vegetables is unique in Japan
This vegetable garden is equipped with LED lights, which automatically emit light and sound when visitors arrive.
A digital greenhouse has just appeared in Tokyo, using illusion lighting and the 'vegetable orchestra'.
The Digital Vegetables Garden Party is a product of the Party Studio, designed to encourage visitors to touch, smell and hear the sounds of the plants.
It occupies a large space in the Midtown garden in Tokyo.
The frame of this greenhouse is equipped with LED lights. Seven vegetables are grown inside and when visitors come inside, they will trigger a series of light and sound.
While LED arrays are digitally engineered, inspired by motion within the ground, sound effects are created by Res Kunimoto. He collected mixed data of the seeds when rubbing, colliding between leaves to simulate the sound of the instrument.
The frame of this greenhouse is equipped with LED lights.
'Tomatoes are violins, carrots are trumpets, small radishes are flute, sweet potato is piano, pumpkin is clarinet' , says Kunimoto.
This digital vegetable garden is on display until Nov. 5. Guests are encouraged to visit at night to experience the full effect of light, the sound of this garden.
