Based on the feet of the gecko, these gloves are covered with a special fabric called 'gecko'.
Embedded in a sticky elastomer, this glove allows users to stick to surfaces like geckos, according to Wired.
This is the result of a project called Z-Man , commissioned by the Draper Laboratory at the University of Massachusetts in the United States, at the request of the Modern Defense Research Projects Agency (DARPA).
According to experts, the Z-Man program aims to develop tools that are inspired by nature and equipped for soldiers so they can easily grasp the wall while armed.
Recently, DARPA has performed the latest version of 'gecko skin' , in which a person weighing 100kg (including a 23kg carrying device) climbs up to an 8m high glass wall.
