"Gabby is growing up. She's a funny and agile person," said Sister Steve, Gabby's mother. Now my ability to recognize danger is better, but Gabby can still hurt herself without knowing it.

Sister Steve recalls, one day Gabby came home from school and told her "my back is funny" . They touched their backs and felt a raspy warmth. After X-rays, doctors said the baby's back was broken.

To help me control this pain-free disease, Gabby was taken to many places by my parents. She met an eye specialist, an endocrinologist and an orthopedic surgeon. Every doctor scheduled Gabby's private examination.
