Going to start the project

Next November, the European Union and 6 countries: the US, China, South Korea, Russia, Japan and India will sign an agreement to participate in the implementation of the International Fusion Reactor Project (ITER). . This is the world's largest scientific research project after the International Space Station (ISS).

ITER's purpose is to simulate how the sun produces energy. The project promises to open an inexpensive clean and inexpensive energy source to replace energy polluted from fossil fuels such as oil and coal. Scientists named this project the ' Artificial Sun ' project.

According to Werner Burkart, Deputy General Director of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), the ITER project will give people the opportunity to realize the dream of controlling energy resources.

Construction of this reactor will take nearly 10 years at a cost of 10 billion euros. The construction site of the reactor is Cadarache, southern France.
