According to Al-Nasr, the construction of the future megacity is on schedule. A new video shared by the project management reveals the real images of the four large-scale complexes in the project including Sindalah Island, The Line, Trojena and Oxagon , Menafn reported on January 22.
'If we want to solve tomorrow's challenges, we need to face them today, no matter how difficult they may be. At NEOM, we are tackling some of the most pressing issues facing humanity by bringing together the most elite community of scholars to create and build a sustainable future ,' said Nadhmi Al-Nasr, CEO of NEOM.

Sindalah is a luxury island project built at the intersection of the Mediterranean and Red Seas, allowing access to luxury yachts and ships from all over the world. The resort will include a beach club, yacht club, spa, fitness center, 51 luxury boutiques, golf course, 3 hotels with 413 rooms and a large marina. Sindalah will have a total area of over 840,000 square meters.
The Line is a smart city with a capacity of 9 million people, spread over an area of 34 km2. The ideal climate all year round ensures that residents can enjoy the surrounding natural landscape. Residents can also access all amenities within a 5-minute walk or via the high-speed rail that goes from one end of the city to the other in 20 minutes. The Line is car-free and emission-free, running on 100% renewable energy. The city is 200 m wide, 170 km long and is 500 m above sea level.
Trojena is a ski resort located 50 km from the Gulf of Aqaba coast, with altitudes ranging from 1,500 m to 2,600 m and covering an area of nearly 60 km2. Taking advantage of the region's different climate, where winter temperatures drop below zero degrees Celsius and year-round temperatures are typically 10 degrees Celsius cooler than elsewhere in the region, Trojena will offer outdoor skiing and extreme sports, with completion expected in 2026.
Oxagon is an octagonal city built on the edge of NEOM. OXAGON will embrace the principles of living in harmony with nature and will be one of the world's most technologically advanced logistics hubs, incorporating the most modern seaport and airport. The city will be carbon neutral and run on 100% clean energy. OXAGON will use cutting-edge technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT), human-machine collaboration, predictive artificial intelligence and robotics. The project will serve seven sectors including sustainable energy, autonomous transportation, clean water initiatives, sustainable food production, healthcare, digital technology and manufacturing (including telecommunications, space technology, robotics) and modern construction methods.
