Google Talk adds voice mail functionality

One-year anniversary of Google Talk's launch, the developer decided to upgrade to allow users to send files and send messages to each other.

Now users of instant messaging and voice chat services can use the "Send file" key and select a file to send. A thumbnail of the file will be displayed in the chat window. Users can also enlarge the miniature image to the actual size.
