GplashMaps - Fashion Maps for Travelers
Those who love to explore new lands can now better navigate and navigate their way outdoors using SplashMaps, the world's first designer canvas by David Overton.
Unlike traditional paper maps, SplashMaps are made of polyester resin, so they are waterproof and can be tied up to be used as a shawl. SplashMaps are different from other types of maps because they are printed by special printing technology, squeezing ink into a fabric instead of just printing on the surface. This printing technique allows you to wash the maps in the washing machine without having to fade colors or details. In addition, SplashMaps satin-like surfaces allow users to draw or mark their schedule with erasable stylus.
Currently, the standard size of a SplashMaps map is 70cmx70cm and is being produced in many other sizes. The map is lightweight in almost half of the paper maps and is one-third the weight of the map with waterproof plastic.
"SplashMaps are more profitable than GPS, because apart from being cheaper, they are hard to break down when you're not careful," says Overton . SplashMaps' prices range from £ 18 to £ 25, which are sold in many UK national parks and are expected to be available in Europe next year.
