Hackers hack French president account on Facebook

A hacker stole the account of French President Nicolas Sarkozy on Facebook and released a fake announcement that he gave up the idea of ​​re-election.

' Dear compatriots, after examining the events that our country is going through, I decided not to run for president after my current term ended in 2012, ' AFP quoted a statement in fake message on January 25.

The impostor also inserted a link to a posting site inviting people to attend the farewell party with President Sarkozy on May 6, 2012 at Le Fouquet cafe on the Champs Elysees. This is where Mr. Sarkozy holds a celebration party after being elected president in 2007.

Many spelling errors appear in fake notifications . It was taken down shortly after Sarkozy found out.

' My Facebook account was stolen tonight. Perhaps the hacker wanted to warn me that no system is inviolable , "Mr Sarkozy's message on Facebook said January 25.

Mr. Sarkozy has not officially announced his second term for office next year, but said he still wanted to continue to lead France.

' I do not agree with these hackers ' unthinking conclusions, ' the statement said.
