On November 15, 1967, police discovered a car being thrown back beside the Old Alton bridge , 8km south of Denton, Texas. Since then, the mysterious disappearance of continuous occurrence, making people in the area rumored that the bridge is being possessed by a ghost of a goat hybrid.

The bridge was built in 1884, it is the place connecting the two cities of Denton and Copper Canyon. Today, vehicles are not allowed to travel on bridges to give way to pedestrians. It became a research site for natural sciences, and it is also a place of work for photographers.

Old Alton bridge is rumored to be a ghost bridge. It is also known as Cau Nguoi Goat by oral stories related to a half-human, half-goat named Goatman . The people said, Goats just hang around somewhere around this Old Alton bridge area. If someone walks over the bridge in the evening without bringing a lamp, then surely meet the Goat at the other end of the bridge.

According to local people, around the beginning of the 20th century, a farmer's family named Oscar Washburn lived north of the bridge. Mr. Washburn is a goat merchant, so the villagers gave him the nickname "Goat". After only a few years, the Goat has become a successful businessman, trusted by the villagers.

When the joy has not lasted long, the Goat was hated by a local group of 3K Party members after seeing the sign "This Way to the Goat" on Old Alton Bridge. One evening in August 1938, they crossed the bridge to kidnap Mr. Washburn, and tortured him to death with a torment and then dumped his body by the roadside.

Many people also determined, never before had anyone named Oscar Washburn mentioned. So much, the legends that people tell are just illusory things that are only imaginative.
