Heart-shaped carrots
When harvesting carrots at the garden in Katsuragi, Japan, Katsuko Nishikawa found two carrots sticking together to form a heart shape.
This unique carrot root has a size of 12 x 7cm. Local agricultural officials say this is a rare case and cannot provide an explanation for this carrot's unusual development.
Amused by the heart shape of the carrot, Nishikawa said she wouldn't separate it.
