Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, director of Biomas MeKong Co., Ltd. (My Phuoc Tay commune, Cai Lay district, Tien Giang province), said the company has successfully produced high-grade fuel called 'rice husk' for Industrial boilers instead of coal or gas plants with large capacity in industrial zones.

The rice husk is used as the main raw material of rice husk. After being put into the tank, it is pureed, through the dust filter system, it is transferred to the compressor with high pressure. The compressed rice husk is continuously added to the cooling system, making it hard and dry, packaged and put into use.

All of this production system is through automated lines from the time when the raw rice husk is put into the tank until the finished product.

Rice husk has high calorific value, 1kg emits 3,600 - 4,200 kgcal, price is 1,240 VND / kg. Although the price is higher than rice husk firewood (780 VND / kg), rice husk pellets occupy small volume, low transport price, high heat emission, especially solve the excess rice husk from rice milling.

With the capacity to consume 2,000 tons of rice husk / month, the company treated more than 24,000 tons of rice husk / year, solved the problem of waste husk in Dong Thap Muoi area. From the place of abandonment, rice husk becomes valuable, brings benefits and settles jobs for thousands of workers.
