Press rice husk into high quality fuel

Producing rice husk firewood

Facing this situation, Quang Tri Town Economic Department has studied and applied biomass shaping technology to produce high quality fuel rods from rice husk, rice husk charcoal.'After being established for less than 1 year, firewood products from rice husks of the above-mentioned factories are not enough to supply for pottery, aqua-drying and coffee-making enterprises . in the whole country , 'said Le Minh Chau Head of Economic Department of Quang Tri town said.

Each rice husk pressing plant with a capacity of 1.2 quintals / hour will solve nearly 10 workers in the area with a salary of 3 to 5 million VND / month. Particularly, enterprises net profit from 300 to 400 million VND / year from pressing rice husk into fuel.

In the coming time, Quang Tri province will implement and replicate this model throughout the province.
