Hormone love helps treat autism
Scientists have discovered that love hormones can help people with autism better behave in social situations.
Oxytocin, commonly referred to as 'affectionate hormone or trust hormone' , is produced when people are orgasmic; Especially for women during pregnancy, childbirth and during lactation.
Oxytocinhormoneswill be the door for autistic people to enter and socialize.
In their new study, Japanese researchers at the University of Tokyo found that just one dose of Oxytocin could boost activity in the emotional processing area and brain empathy.
The team came up with their conclusions after studying 40 highly-functioning autistic men. These people used Oxytocin by spraying them into the nose.
After 90 minutes, the researchers scanned the men who participated in the study. The results show that the level of activity of the brain region responsible for handling emotional emotions has increased markedly.
Later, the patients were also given a small test of the recognition of good and bad film characters from speech and nonverbal elements. The results also show that they can explain the character of the character correctly.
Research co-author Hidenori Yamasue said people with autism often lose their ability to communicate non-verbally and the ability to interact with society. But Oxytocin hormones will be the best solution for them to enter and integrate into society.
Other research by French scientists about Oxytocin shows that people with autism are more sociable and believe in society.
Previously, Oxytocin has also been linked to the treatment of people with emotional disorders and social functions.
