House built with ... water

A house with walls is flowing water, can project images and words, is being designed by a group of American architects and engineers.

This unique "digital water hall" will be unveiled at the 2008 Zaragoza International Fair in Spain, with the layout of an exhibition area, a place to drink coffee and many other public spaces - all All are covered by circulating water screens.

Because circulating water is quite cheap and plentiful, water walls can be created on a large scale in the future.

"To understand the concept of digital water, imagine something like a large-sized ink printer, controlling the falling water droplets," Carlo Ratti, director of the SENSEable City laboratory at MIT, team member, said.

The effect is created by a series of valves placed along a high-hanging water pipe. A computer will control the opening and closing of these valves. The process of creating a falling water screen is similar to a waterfall, filling up the necessary positions. The entire surface will become a fluid performance that constantly pulls the scroll bar down.

Air integration and water droplets are similar to digital pixels used to create images on a computer screen or on other advertising screens.
