More than 10 years is the time that engineer Ha Trong Dung, director of Protec 2000 Biological Toy Center, spent to study and complete the house model for emergency situations, which can be used. to rescue people in areas frequently flooded by floods, landslides or earthquakes.

Ever since entering the army (in 1979), engineer Ha Trong Dung has been very passionate about technical drawing work, and also during this time, he began to cherish the dream of creating unique works. . Mai came in 1984, transferred to the Office of the General Department of Vocational Training (Ministry of Education and Training), he was more qualified to design a series of biological toys for students such as: the device to throw basketballs, bridges chuang chi, climbing ladder .

Not stopping there, in 1989, he continued to work on a "bigger" project himself. That is the model for emergency situations (this work was designated by him as the Modular HD-21N). The first job he identified was to find the disadvantages of flood-proof houses in the Mekong Delta constructed of concrete and reinforced steel.

According to Mr. Dung, such types of houses are stable but when storms occur, floods are easily subsided due to the great gravity, old-fashioned roofing houses and tile roofs are easy to be roofed, and houses are equal. Bamboo leaves are often wiped out after each storm.

HD-21N houses designed to meet three important criteria are: fast, powerful and efficient. The house is designed as a grade 4 house with an area depending on the demand from about 18-24m ² , 3-4m high, 6m wide. The whole house is assembled into a space-bearing block, the base is a cross-linked block of a plane, the center of gravity is in the middle, the house-making equipment is the zinc-coated water pipes, corrugated iron roof.

Mr. Dung said that with this design, it is possible to build a house in all terrain conditions (just leveling is completed), the time to assemble such a house is also very short, usually only takes about one hours and can also move the house to other places very quickly.

Another advantage of this house is that even when the storms or earthquakes are pulled down, it can be recovered immediately. On the other hand, because it is designed in the form of 'open', the user can also expand the house area from 10-12m ² , the height of the roof also increases from 2.2-3m, depending on terrain conditions.

Not only can be built on places with flat terrain such as in coastal areas . the HD-21N can also be built on buoys and piles to avoid flooding on the river to avoid floods .

Currently, the HD-21N house model has been completely built by Mr. Dung and is being built at his home. Mr. Dung said that in 2000 he used to sell two houses of this type to a construction unit in Ha Long (Quang Ninh) to build a mobile home for workers and the headquarters of the construction site, with a total cost from VND 25-30 million / unit. The house has a durability of 10-15 years, so it costs a lot less than other types of houses.

However, according to Mr. Dung, in order to put this model into widespread use, he desperately needs cooperation from the State and local authorities, as this is a demanding work that needs to be done under a system. , but not small.

The current difficulty of Dung's concern is that his house model is copyrighted, so he cannot produce synchronously. Therefore, it is not that he wants to sell copyrights to businesses, but only to jointly produce businesses, because now basically, he has perfected the manufacturing formula and can produce simultaneously instantaneously with millions of homes.
