Hundreds of 2000 year old charm charms were discovered

New archaeologists have discovered more than 600 seals and amulets in an ancient sanctuary in Turkey.

This finding is described by researchers as "unprecedented " ever. These artifacts were discovered at a sacred worship site near the ancient city of Jupiter Dolichenus.

The seals and amulets are determined to date from the 7th to 4th centuries BC. The Jupiter Dolichenus sanctuary contains these antiquities that are considered one of the places of the most important gods of the Roman Empire in the 2nd century AD.

"The number of objects discovered is so large that it has never been seen in any reserve ," said excavation director Dr Engelbert Winter.

'The huge number of seals and talismans mentioned above are used for the purpose of worshiping gods like sacrifices , " he added.
