Hungry ducks risk their lives and then devour the giant red shrimp
When passing through the lake in Fullerton, California, USA, photographer Andrew Lee has witnessed the intense hunting of a crested sea duck.
The wild duck's beak seemed to be squeezed between the giant red shrimp, but it was actually trying to swallow the shrimp that was as big as its head.
The red shrimp tried to bend and use it to attack wild ducks to escape predators, but to no avail.
The wild duck shook the red shrimp on the surface of the water, causing one of it to break.
After breaking one more of the red shrimp, the wild duck continues to grip the remaining one of the prey.
The wild duck tries to turn the red shrimp to swallow the prey from the tail.
Then, the wild duck easily put the red shrimp into its mouth for a full lunch.
