The army entered the flood and storm fight
According to information from the National Committee for Search and Rescue, to cope with Typhoon 6, military units mobilized forces to key areas to carry out the fight against floods and storms.
Specifically, Military Region 4 ordered 330 officers and soldiers to leave in Phu Loc district (Thua Thien - Hue) to help people overcome the consequences of flooding and ready to cope when the storm No. 6 hit. Military Command Thua Thien - Hue also mobilized 80 soldiers to help people in Phong Dien district. Military zone 5 mobilized permanent forces of 366 people, 2,276 self-defense militants, 43 cars, 25 high-speed canoes, and boats to help people overcome flood consequences. Military Region 7 and Military Region 9 had electricity and approved plans for units ready to maneuver against typhoon 6 and flooding when ordered.

Many people died when floods were withdrawn
As of November 6, 60 people died from the last flood.
According to initial statistics, in the last three floods, Quang Nam province has 19 people died and gone missing, largely due to subjectivity, disregarding life during floods and floods. Although authorities and functional sectors have constantly warned of the dangers of flooding, many unfortunate cases still go through flooded areas, fast flowing water, so they are killed by floods. There are also many cases of boat capsules falling into the flood waters when fishing, collecting firewood.
According to the report of the Steering Committee for Flood and Storm Control in Thua Thien - Hue province, on November 6, there were three more people dying from floods.
