The owners of Koda dogs, Rachel Howatt and Clinton Subbick, were extremely worried and used to search for her everywhere, publish newspapers, spread leaflets and post articles on facebook to search. Both live in the city of Manitoba, Canada, a place quite near the edge of the forest.
