The warming of the earth has been faster than expected by humans and this is most evident in the Arctic region. In the land that used to be the challenge of these explorers, ice melted so much that it was about to form a new sea route and boats could easily walk, which was previously impossible.

For centuries, thick layers of ice have prevented the adventurers' path to follow the Northwest road to the North Pole - this road is still considered a difficult legend around the North American continent. But now things can be easier.

Elsie Ovilok, a North American resident, said they noticed a clear change in the surrounding landscape. Elsie Ovilok said: "Since about 10 years ago, the ice around us has disappeared with tremendous speed."

In the past, thick ice made it almost impossible for any boat to move here, but because of the melting of the ice, a waterway was about to form and it was likely that ships would pass.

"It is estimated that by the year 2050 we will have a North-West sea route. It is only recently that we have realized this trend," said marine expert Brandon Harvey .

The Northwest Road is a sea route from the Arctic Sea that passes through the North Sea of ​​North America, through Canada and then through the Atlantic and Pacific Ocean.

Although there may be a new sea route, this is not desirable because it means that the earth will heat up very quickly. According to satellite measurements, the Arctic currently has only 5.26 km2 of ice, falling to tens of thousands of square kilometers compared to 2005.
