Thus, the Mangalyaan probe (aka MOM - Mars Orbiter Mission) developed by the Indian Space Research Agency (ISRO) will not be able to take off as scheduled on October 28.

"The mission has been rescheduled until November 5 and the probe will be launched at 14:36 (Indian time) at the Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh state", spokesman ISRO Deviprasad Karnik told AFP.

It is known that the mission worth $ 73 million to launch Mangalyaan to fly to Mars orbit will be made with an advanced four-ton PSLV rocket (also known as PSLV-XL) weighing 350 tons.

As expected, the Mangalyaan, which weighs 1,350kg, will take about 10 months to fly 400 million kilometers through space to reach the orbit of the red planet.

Mangalyaan will carry five scientific devices made by India to study the Martian atmosphere, in search of traces of methane - a sign of the existence of life; Take color photos of the red planet and find out if there is water on it.

According to Indian officials, the upcoming Mars exploration mission will mark an important step in the country's space exploration program.

It is known that in 2008, India successfully launched Chandrayaan-1 onto orbit the moon and then announced the discovery of the existence of the country on "Sister Hang".

This mission is considered a pride and a stepping stone for the implementation of South Asia's ambitious Mars exploration program.
