Indonesia brought 21 bodies of plane victims to identification

The bodies and objects of the Lion Air plane victims will be taken to a hospital in Jakarta to identify themselves.

Indonesia's National Search and Rescue Agency (Basarnas) announced yesterday that 21 body bags, debris from aircraft and items of Lion Air crash victims were gathered at the command center. the mix at Tanjung Priok port, before moving to Kramat Jati police hospital in Jakarta to identify, according to CNN.

These pieces of corpses and objects were found near the scene of the crash of JT610. Basarnas Bambang director Suryo Aji had earlier stated that most of the 189 people on board were killed, and ordered 24-hour search."We are all trying our best to find the location of the wreck , " director Aji said.

Lion Air dispatched planes carrying relatives of victims from Pangkal Pinang city to Jakarta."We are deeply saddened by this tragedy and will continue to coordinate with our stakeholders to confirm the identity of the passengers and crew members , " said Lion Air.

Lion Air's flight number JT610 leaves Jakarta at 6:20 pm on October 29 and is scheduled to land at 7h20 in Pangkal Pinang city. The plane crashed just 13 minutes after takeoff and plunged into Karawang Bay. The wreck of the plane is sinking under the area with a depth of 30-40m.

The plane crashed was a new Boeing 737 MAX 8 delivered to Lion Air in August this year. Lion Air representative said the pilot had reported the aircraft had technical problems after the night flight on October 28, but did not specify what the problem was with the aircraft. The inspected engineers follow the process and the Boeing 737 is said to be safe enough to take off this morning.
