Indonesia struck an earthquake again

The night of 9-3, an earthquake with the initial magnitude of 5.4 Richter shook the province of Papua. There have been no reports of damage and casualties,

According to an Indonesian Geophysical and Meteorological Agency official, the earthquake occurred at 21:00 local time, the epicenter was located 237 km northeast of Papua town of Papua and 62 km deep under the sea.

Earlier on March 6, a 6.3-magnitude quake struck Indonesia's Sumatra island, killing 73 people and injuring hundreds. The earthquake has also leveled hundreds of houses that many still live on in temporary camps so far.

* On the same day, offshore Honduras and El Salvador also occurred a 6.1 magnitude earthquake. Geological agencies of both countries said the earthquake center is located in the Pacific Gulf, at a depth of 219 km in the earth's crust.

According to El Salvador officials, tremors are felt across the country, but not material damage.
